Dona Nobis Pacem is Latin for Grant Us Peace. This lovely traditional canon or round has been arranged by Deborah Friou for solo harp and also for harp ensemble of two or three harps. Deborah has added a second canon, a variation on the original, to the ensemble version. The "first harp" part is written in the bass, the "second" in the mid range, while the "third" is in the treble end. Advanced beginners can play just the right hand if necessary. Beautiful arrangements of classic Psalms for harp and melody instrument. We have played through each of these arrangements using pedal and lever harp, and melodica, recorder and even humming. The arrangements are really beautiful and well done, with independence and interest in both parts. Well edited with lever changes indicated. Fingerings are not included, however there are no tricky passages. All pieces are arranged for harp and melody instrument. Additionally, Amazing Grace is arranged as a lovely harp solo.
