Teifi Telor
The Teifi Telor is the latest model folk harp model made by Teifi,
based on the
Gwennol. However, The Telor has nylon strings with rather much tension.
The harp has the beautiful robust Teifi sound. The harp is very solidly built from carefully selected hardwood. The harps are made of dark walnut or cherry. Teifi harps are named
after songbirds and Telor means 'white throat'. Teifi provides them with their own unique semitone mechanisms
(levers) similar to the mechanism of a pedal harp. These levers show no loss of sound.
Features of the Telor:
-
34 string, reach of 4 ¾ octaves, from C two octaves below middle C to A (2 ¾ octaves above middle C).
-
Either nylon strings or Bow Brand Lever gut.
-
Built of solid cherry, walnut, ash or beech.
-
Teifi temi tone levers.
-
Height 1.17 meter.
-
Weight 11,5 kilo.
